Tends machnie that winds lace on cards: Inserts card in
machine holder with end of lace next to margin and manually
turns card to start winding. Depresses pedal to start machine
and control speed, guiding lace across card until specified
number of layers are wuond. Examines lace for defects during
winding and rejects unsatisfacotry material.
